Dr. Mariam Ibrahim Al-Hammadi is an Associate Professor of History at Qatar University. Dr. Al-Hammadi received her BA from Qatar University, MA from University of Wales Aberystwyth and Ph.D from Leeds University in 2013. Dr. Al-Hammadi’s research interests include identity, culture and heritage, museum studies and globalization. She received many research and honorary awards, including the prestigious Education Excellence Prize. Finally, she authored several peer-reviewed articles, book chapters and books.
