Dr. Shaikha Al-Kuwari is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Qatar University. In 2018, she earned her Ph.D in Anthropology from the University of Florida, U.S.A. Her research focuses on the relationship between culture and health. She is interested in building cultural models for well-known medical illnesses using the latest methodological advances in the social sciences. Her goal is to create a culture-based precision medication that provides healthcare solutions based on people’s cultures.
